Called a convenient new KC-area company, Zohr Mobile Tire Service, to come and install my winter tires today. The summer tires wheels have been cleaned and waxed and put away for next year.

I also mentioned my wife’s Escape had the TPMS warning light going on for the last couple days even after we would add some air. They checked it out and we found a screw in it, fortunately they were able to remove it and patch it up on the spot.

They have a full service mobile van and can mount and balance tires right in the van! I didn’t want to come off as some fan-boy creeper so I only got a distance shot but seriously folks, if you live in KC use them. They have very reasonable prices, are a locally owned business, and they come right to you.

well now, that’s nifty... I happen to know where to buy an old tire machine, a decent balancer and not-too-rusty Sprinter with about 1/2 a gazillion miles on it... New business plan?

That is an incredible business. Wish we had something like that around here. Maybe we do...

You cleaned and waxed your tires?

You got me! The summer only wheels, to be more specific. Can you imagine how hard it would be to remove wax from rubber?
